Second Death under Torture in Less than 10 Days
Second Ahwazis young activist was torutured to death by Iran's security forces in less than 10 days. Mohmmed Jassim Al Kaabi was arrested last week with his father Jassim and sister Khadija along with at least 40 others in city of Shush. His family was told that his body had been buried by authorities in an unmarked grave.
On 28 January 2012 EAHRO reported that
he was among least 40 people who were arrested and detained by t Iranian riot police and intelligence agents during an Ahwazi protest in the city of Susa (Shush) demanding cultural, social and political rights was well as protesting against racist policies random raid and unjustified arrest of Ahwazi activists.
His death follows the death of Nasser Al Boushokeh Darafshan, 25-year-old, who was arrested by security forces in the Ahwaz city and transferred to unknown location where he was tortured to death. His family were not told of his whereabouts for one week before security forces gave them his corpse with bore marks of torture including broken limbs.
