Five Arab Activists Detained in Ahwazi city of Susa

According to Public Relations' Office of the Arabistan Al Ahwaz (Khuzestan) five Arab activists have been arrested in Arabistan Al Ahwazi. Naeim Tamimi, Kamal Noqadda, Majed Alwani, Tareq Mosawi and Mezher Kaab have been arrested by the Iranian security forces on Saturday in city of Susa (Shush) charged with acting against national security and illegal gatherings. They were arrested after a raid on their homes by the security forces and transferred to Dezful Prison. No judicial warrant was presented during their arrest. Relatives have stated that their activities were limited to cultural ones such as organizing Arabic poetry night ceremonies. Around 10 million Arabs live in  primarily Arabistan Al Ahwazi region south and southwest of Iran.
