UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights Urges Iran to Halt Imminent Execution of Aref Hamidian

UN human rights source informed European Ahwazi Human Rights Organisation (EAHRO) that on 13 April 2012 UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights has issued an urgent appeal to Iranian government to stop Aref Hamidian's execution due on 20 April 2012.


Also, three UN The Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Situation in Iran, Dr. Ahmed Shaheed, Rapporteur on Torture and the Rapporteur on Arbitrary Detention and Executions jointly issued an urgent appeal to Iran on Aref Hamidian's case.
