Iran Executes Eight Young Arab Activists


They were executed in notorious Karoun prison after physical and psychological torture after being held in solitary condiment before executions.

In February 2012 Human Rights watch urged Iran to open independent and transparent investigations into all executions and reported that Iran executed at least seven Arab men and a 16-year-old boy in Ahwaz’s Karun prison between May 4 and May 7, 2011and  

On 27 March Amnesty International reported that Iran had executed at least 360 people up from at least 252 in 2010 and it had credible reports of at least a further 274 unconfirmed or even "secret" executions in Iran.

According to the official site of the Iranian judiciary in Ahwaz, 38 people have been executed in the 11 month of 2011 only.
