According to the Khuzestan Prosecutor's Office they were arrested for acting against national security, anti-regime propaganda conspiracy and anti-regime gathering. The Office did not disclose their names.
EARO understands that these activists have been arrested for resisting forced confiscation of their land by Iranian authorities and resistance to the cruelties and the injustice that the Arabs of the region have been subjected to.
Last week several people were injured and taken to hospital when people clashed with Iranian authorities objecting their lands confiscation in Zergan district.
